These are the rules for playing AutoArena. By playing, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not play.

Your account

• Opening the game gives you a guest account. It lives in your browser, and if you clear your browser data without saving it, it is gone. We cannot recover it.
• Saving your account with an email or Google Sign-In is what makes it recoverable and lets you play on another device.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Creating extra accounts to farm rewards or manipulate the ladder is not allowed.

Fair play

Please do not:

• Cheat, use bots, or modify the game client to gain an advantage.
• Deliberately lose matches to manipulate your ranking, or arrange match outcomes with another player.
• Attack, overload or probe the servers, or try to reach accounts that are not yours.
• Choose a display name that is abusive, hateful, obscene, or pretends to be someone else.

We can change a name, reset a ladder position, or suspend an account that breaks these rules. For serious or repeated cases we may do so without warning.

Coins, gems and unlocks

• Coins, gems, minis, heroes and cosmetics are a licence to use them inside AutoArena. You do not own them, and they have no cash value.
• They cannot be sold, traded or transferred between accounts, or exchanged for money.
• Anything you buy is generally non-refundable once delivered, except where the law gives you a refund right — which it often does. Ask us and we will sort it out.
• If your account is closed for breaking these rules, unspent currency and unlocks go with it.

The game will change

AutoArena is balanced continuously. Stats, abilities, costs, rewards and ladder maths will change, sometimes sharply, and something you unlocked may get weaker. That is part of a competitive game, not a fault, and it is not grounds for a refund.

Seasons

The ladder runs in seasons. At the end of one, trophies are partly carried over rather than kept in full, and rewards are granted according to where you finished. Your account level, XP, coins and unlocks are not reset.

Availability

We will do our best to keep AutoArena running, but it is provided "as is". We do not promise it will always be available, bug-free, or that progress can never be lost. We may change, suspend or close the game, and if we close it for good we will give as much notice as we reasonably can.

Our stuff and yours

The game, its code, art, characters and name belong to us. You may stream, record and make videos of your own play, including monetised ones — we would like that. You may not copy the game, resell it, or pass it off as your own.

Ending things

You can stop playing and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or the law.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from playing AutoArena. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited — in Australia, that includes the guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Changes

If these terms change materially we will update the date above and say so in the game. Continuing to play means accepting the new version.
